Living Water Biblical Institute affirms that meaningful learning does not occur only within the four walls of a classroom. God shapes His people through life, ministry, service, responsibility, and experience. Many of the most valuable lessons a believer carries were not learned from a textbook, but through walking with God, serving others, and overcoming real‑life challenges.

We acknowledge that:

Learning does not take place solely in a cubicle or lecture hall

Spiritual insight can be gained without ever stepping onto a college campus

Much of what a person knows has been formed through life experience, ministry involvement, and personal devotion

The world itself becomes a classroom where God teaches, molds, and matures His people

Jesus demonstrated that all of life is a seminary, and the Holy Spirit is our Instructor. The most transformative lessons are woven into our daily walk with Christ—through prayer, obedience, trials, victories, and faithful service.

Academic Award Credits for Life/Work Experience

In recognition of the value of experiential learning, LWBI offers Academic Award Credits for documented life, ministry, and work experience. These credits may be applied toward selected certificate, diploma, or degree programs, based on:

Ministry leadership

Teaching or preaching experience

Church service roles

Community outreach involvement

Professional or vocational experience

Documented training, workshops, or seminars

Demonstrated spiritual maturity and Christian service

Award credits are evaluated individually to ensure they reflect genuine learning, competency, and alignment with LWBI’s academic and spiritual standards.

Purpose of Life/Work Credit Evaluation

The purpose of awarding life/work credits is to:

Honor the learning God has already produced in the student

Accelerate academic progress where appropriate

Prevent unnecessary repetition of material already mastered

Affirm the value of ministry and real‑world experience

Support adult learners, ministers, and working professionals

LWBI’s approach reflects our belief that God uses every season of life to teach, develop, and equip His people for greater service.
